Thanks for donating, and for posting on your blog. There is always a big need for blood. I have a patient almost every week who needs a transfusion. 5 years ago we would give "epo," but turns out it can make cancer cells grow, just like making blood cells grow. So, back to old fashioned blood for anemic folks.
